PURPOSE
Establish a system to define a system that allows defining a metric to account for both direct and indirect emissions of greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and other gases emitted by IntelCav and its constant attempt to reduce.
Adopting responsible consumption and investing in good sustainability practices, such as waste recycling, preference for purchasing products from environmentally friendly companies, rational use of natural resources, such as water and energy, among others.
TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Operational Procedure (OP) - Document that generally defines means, criteria and responsibilities for carrying out process activities.
Work Instruction (IT) – Details of a specific activity of the process documented in the PO.

It is the responsibility of all employees to participate in Programs related to the Environment at IntelCav.

Adoptions of sustainable materials
Obtain and use environmentally friendly materials for credit card production, such as biodegradable plastics or recycled materials.
Energy efficient production
Update equipment and manufacturing processes to be more energy efficient, reducing electricity consumption and emissions.
Use renewable energy sources
Transition to renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind energy, to power your manufacturing facilities.
Reduce waste generation
Minimize waste by implementing recycling programs and optimizing production to reduce material waste.
Promote digital communication
Encourage digital communication and document sharing to reduce the need for physical documentation and transportation.
Implement green packaging
Use eco-friendly packaging materials and design to minimize packaging waste and environmental impact
Optimize transport
Consolidate shipments, use more fuel-efficient transportation methods, and consider local sourcing to reduce carbon emissions during distribution.
Educate and engage employees

Measure and report carbon emissions
Maintain carbon footprint measurement and reporting system to track emissions, set reduction targets, and publicly report progress.
